It's Summer School Time!

The school year is almost over and it's time to start planning those summer activities!  There are tons of great activities planned for grades going into kindergarten, elementary and middle school age students.  Swimming lessons and field trips are also planned.  Don't miss out on a great way to spend a few days (and head off that summer brain-drain!)

Registration and Information

This year the Winter School District’s Summer School Program will run Monday through Thursday from 7:45-12:00 for non-swimmers and 7:45-2:15 for swimmers during the two-week session in June. The one-week session in August will be held August 13-16.

Swimming lessons at the Phillips Community Pool are also being held on Monday through Thursday for the two weeks in June.  There is no cost to district students who wish to attend swimming classes. Swimming will only be offered during the two weeks in June. The forms in this brochure must be completed with all phone numbers for emergency contacts. Breakfast will be served from 7:45 to 8:15 with classes beginning at 8:15.  Lunch will be served from 11:30 to 12:00. Busses will leave the school at 12:05 and will run to specific drop off points (see locations and bus information in this brochure). Please be there on time to deliver and pick up your child.

There are special offerings for high school credit recovery and science credit at Summer Science Camp.

Special classes for middle school students are also being offered. All information is in the brochure. This is really cool for middle schoolers!
