Michaela Flug will be a 2024 graduate of Winter High School and is the daughter of Travis and Andrea Flug. Her favorite activity to do with her family is travel. Her favorite childhood memory is crawling in the cabinets at her grandparents and seeing what trouble she could get herself into.
Michaela has focused on her academics and the yearbook while at WHS. Her favorite high school memory is when she and another student unrolled an entire roll of toilet paper in the bathroom for their homecoming float.
The class Michaela enjoyed the most was any of her many art classes because she could let her creativity out. Her biggest pet peeve is being talked over.
Outside of school, Michaela enjoys playing in the water and exploring. If she had one wish it would be to make it so her family doesn't have to fight so hard to stay ahead. Caring, creative, and honest are the three words that best describe her.
After High School, Michaela plans to move to Tennessee and pursue an education in Cosmetology.
In 10 years, she sees herself working her butt off to live her dreams and live a comfortable lifestyle.
Three things on her bucket list are to visit Japan, own a cow, and enjoy the little things in life.
The person she admires most is her mother and father because they always have worked super hard to give her everything she has ever needed. The teacher that had the biggest impact on Michaela is her grandma because she has managed to run a farm, teach her students, and raise her two girls at the same time. Not only did she do a great job raising her own kids but now she is there whenever her grandkids need her as well.
The thing Michaela will miss the most about Winter High School is absolutely nothing. If there was one way she could be remembered at WHS, it would be as the girl who did not want to be seen.
Michaela would advise underclassmen to just do their work and get it done and over with.
