It is hard to believe, but this is the last full week of April. May is just around the corner and it is always a busy month. Important dates to be aware of: May 3, students do not have school. It is a teacher in-service day. Teachers will be working on the new math curriculum for next year and getting training on our new student information system, Skyward. Skyward, an excellent upgrade for the district, will allow parents to fill out forms from the app, including permission slips. This app will keep you informed and involved in your child's school activities!
We are eagerly looking forward to the Spring Concert on May 13. The elementary concert will be during the day, and the middle and high school concerts will be that evening. High School Graduation is May 17, and 8th Grade Promotion is May 22. These events are not only milestones for our students but also opportunities for us to celebrate their achievements together as a community.
It is fantastic to think about all the growth and learning that our students have had throughout this school year. Their achievements are a testament to their hard work and dedication, and we are proud to have them as part of our Winter School District community.
