Bizhiki Dance Group and LCO Reservation will be co-hosting a Powwow at Winter School on Friday, April 5th. Grand Entry is at 1pm and the celebration will go until 2:30 pm in the HS gym. This event is open to the public, all are welcome to participate.

Sawyer County Health and Human Services and the LCO Tribal Governing Board are hosting a substance use awareness (Don’t be fooled by Fentanyl) event April 9 at the LCO casino. Please see flyer for further information.

Notice to Caregivers of HS Students: Please remember tomorrow, March 12, is a virtual Day for 9th, 10th and 12th Grade Students. 11th grade students will be taking the ACT test.

Reminder for Caregivers/Parents of Seniors: Please turn in your senior dedications for the school yearbook. A form was provided to parents at the beginning of the year. If you need another form, please email Mrs. Lueloff at alueloff@winterwarriors.org.

Northwest Connection Family Resources is hosting a diaper bank February 16, 2024. Where: 15896 W 3rd Street, Hayward. Time: 12:00-4:00 p.m.

Reminder to Caregivers: February 2 is teacher planning day. There is no school for students.

Winter School District and Project Northwoods are excited to co-host the Snake Ecology Group VII Conference right here in Winter, WI! There will be many opportunities for community members to get involved (even if you don't like snakes!), including a community picnic! Stay tuned for more information coming soon!

The STAR afterschool program is going tubing at Christie Mountain January 27th. The bus leaves at 9:00 am from the school and returns at 1:00 pm. There will be concessions available for purchase, but feel free to bring along some snacks.

Important Notice: Due to the high numbers of student and staff illness, all after school activities are canceled for today, January 18. This includes practices, MS girls bb game and STAR afterschool. There will be no school tomorrow, January 19 and the HS basketball game at Birchwood has been postponed. The athletic director is working on rescheduling all games. We will share the new dates as soon as possible. Stay warm, hydrated and wash those hands!!

Weather Alert: Due to inclement weather and travel concerns, tonight's games against Prairie Farm have been cancelled to a later date. HS and MS practices are cancelled as well.

Notice of Board of Education Meeting Time Change: The board of education will be holding their regular monthly meeting on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 5:30 p.m.

Our Senior Class is working hard on a dip fundraiser for our class trip! Each dip/rub/cracker seasoning is $5 each. Please let either Billy Phillips or Stephanie Schick know if you'd like to purchase some, feel free to reach out and email, sschick@winterwarriors.org. Please be sure to also leave contact information- name, phone number and email so that we can reach out to you about the fundraiser items being in before Christmas! Direct payments can be made with the office. A variety of the dips/rubs are shown in the 4 attachments below.
