Important Notice to Caregivers
Due to numerous positive COVID-19 cases in the Winter School District and for the safety and health of our students, the board of education at their regular monthly meeting voted to extend virtual learning through Friday, September 24th for the middle school and high school students. Students will return to in person learning on Monday, September 27th. At this time, the elementary students will continue in person learning. Masks are required on busses and in the building until further notice. Visitors are not allowed in the building unless by appointment only.
Homework - Students should reach out to their teachers for homework assignments and class details. If your child is in need of books or other supplies, have them reach out to their teachers to make arrangements for pick up.
Meals - meals will be provided to virtual students upon request. To place your child’s food order, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 715-266-3301 with your child’s full name, grade, number of meals and date of pick up. You can request up to 1 lunch and 1 breakfast per child per day. Meals are available for pick up Sept. 23rd-Sept. 24th between noon and 1:00pm.
Transportation - bus schedules will remain the same for elementary students. Masking is required on all buses
Sports - coaches will contact athletes with practice opportunities. Regular practices will begin Monday, September 27th. Changes to schedules will be available to students on Monday, September 27th. Masks will be required at all indoor practices and contests at the WSD. Spectators will be required to wear masks at all indoor events at WSD.
