The Wisconsin Department of Instruction has moved forward with many new assessments in the past few years. The department is in the process of reviewing proposals for a science and a social studies assessment in grades 4, 8 and 10. As a result, we will no longer administer the WKCE test in Wisconsin. The current state test that is use is the FORWARD Exam. This tests grades 3-8 in all core subjects and grade 10 in Social Studies.
