Class of 2026
Lucas Splain, son of Jeffrey and Candee, is featured in our Senior
Spotlight for February 2026.
While in High School, Lucas has quietly completed each of his courses with diligence. He always has a quiet but pleasant attitude and is willing to try new things when asked. He is helpful,
including picking up the recycling for the entire school each day; this can be a messy job, but he never complains. Following High School, Lucas plans to go into the workforce, likely in construction.
Mr. Mike Scanlon, Winter School District’s Technology Education teacher, says, “Lucas is a very diligent worker. He excels at anything he does and gives 110%. He enjoys art as well as welding and woods classes.”
Mr. Jeff Suralski, the Winter High School Social Studies teacher, says, “Lucas has taken nearly every single social studies class that I offer, and he has always done great work. If I need a job done well, I know I can count on Lucas to do it!”
