Congratulations to Zeke on earning Student of the Month. Zeke just joined our school this year, but he has made a big, positive addition to the junior class. Congratulations, Zeke!
Ezekiel Farrell, son of Joshua Farrell and stepson of Allaina Kirrane,
, has been chosen as the Winter High School Student of the Month for March 2026.
Zeke joined the Winter School District just this school year, coming all the way from Oregon. He is conscientious about his work, advocates for himself and is a great, enthusiastic addition to the junior class.
Mr. Delabar, the WSD physical education teacher and athletic director says, “Zeke has joined the baseball team this year and balances both that and the Drama Club in the spring. He has been doing a great job learning the game, hustling, trying his best at whatever is asked of him and preparing for practices. He is a forward thinker and has been a great addition to the team.” Mr. Kolodzinski, the Winter High School Language Arts teacher says, “Zeke is always motivated in my class. He is willing to put in extra effort, and makes it a point to be fully engaged during lessons. Zeke maintains strong communication with me and asks for help or clarification when necessary. His eagerness to interact with the teacher and students encourages others to do the same, and contributes to creating a positive classroom environment.” Mr. Mike Scanlon, a WSD technology education teacher, says, “Zeke, wow, what can I say? Zeke always attacks any obstacle with everything he has. He is eager to try new things and always focuses on the positive side of things. Zeke, you brighten everyone’s day with your positive attitude and high spirits.” Mrs. Lueloff, the WSD business education teacher, says, “Zeke is an enthusiastic, confident and personable student in the classroom. I have only had him in my room for one week, but he is already making an impact in my day. He is fun to talk to, engages with everyone, and has great positive energy and conversations. I am proud to call him a Warrior.” Mrs. Holman, the Winter Middle and High School Special Education teacher, says, “Zeke is a kind and cooperative student. He comes to class ready to settle in and learn. He will ask for help when needed and readily participates in classroom tasks and discussions. He is very intune to the literature being read in the classroom and shares his predictions and connections to the story. Many times his predictions about the story are correct!! Zeke is an energetic, fun student to have in class.” Shelby Schuck, a WSD paraprofessional, says, “I do not work with Zeke in the classroom. However, I supervise the High School lunch hour and oftentimes Zeke sits with the art teacher and me. He is a very pleasant, smart young man who knows NFL football stats like few others. Thank you, Zeke, and CONGRATULATIONS on being the Student of the Month!” And Mr. Suralski, the Winter High School social studies teacher, says, “Zeke has been such a wonderful addition to our school. He is just so genuine, positive and enthusiastic every single day. I was lucky enough to spend an entire trimester one-on-one with Zeke studying the Vietnam War, a subject he was extremely motivated to learn about. Every day seeing his enthusiasm reminded me of the reason why people become teachers; the look of joy in his face while was creating his project is itself the reason. Great job, Zeke, you earned it!”
Congratulations to Zeke for earning Student of the Month for March 2026!
