Gwendolyn Greuel, daughter of Matt and Heather Greuel, is featured in our Senior Spotlight. Gwen is the 2026 Valedictorian!
Gwen has attended school at the Winter School District for her entire education. While in High School, she has been active in the Lakeland Honor Society, Quiz Bowl, and sports. She has played volleyball and softball. She has also been a tutor in the fifth-grade classroom and a service student for physical education classes.
After High School, Gwen plans to attend a four-year college to earn her degree in early childhood/early education teaching. She has participated in a class, as well as hands-on experience, so we know she will go far in this career.
Mrs. Lueloff, the Winter School District Business Education teacher, says, “Gwen is making the most out of her senior year. She is the happiest young woman, and I can’t wait to see that spread into her future!” Mr. Delabar, the Winter School District Physical Education teacher and Athletic Director, says, “Gwen has been a great leader in PE by taking time to help younger students learn skills, understand rules, and build confidence during activities. She is patient, encouraging, and always willing to step in when someone needs extra support. Gwen hopes to become a teacher one day, and she is already showing the qualities of an outstanding educator.” Mr. Suralski, the Winter High School Social Studies teacher, says, “Gwen exemplifies our motto of "WORK” by rising above challenges through determination, and does it with such positivity that it helps inspire those around her.”
Congratulations to Gwen for earning Senior Spotlight!
