Kaydance Granica was chosen by the committee to represent the Winter School District at the Lakeland Conference Scholar Athlete Banquet last night in Shell Lake. This honor highlights her hard work and excellence in both academics and athletics. She was accompanied by her mom, Sarah, her dad, Mike, influential educator Alicia Lueloff, and her Athletic Director, Jack Delabar, all of whom have played important roles in supporting her journey. She also identified her dad, Mike Granica, as an influential coach - a pretty special moment for all involved!
The evening began with a dinner that brought together outstanding student-athletes from across the conference. Following the meal, attendees heard from a guest speaker, Craig Miles, who shared an inspiring message about dedication and the importance of being “uncommon” in a common world. The night concluded with the awards presentation, recognizing some awesome accomplishments of the scholar-athletes around the Lakeland Conference
Kaydance’s presence at the banquet reflects not only her individual commitment but also the strong support system around her that continues to guide and encourage her success. We are proud to call her ours and wish her luck in her future!
Congratulations, Kaydance!
