Coach Holm took a group of our football players to D.C. Everest this past Friday to watch McDonell Central Catholic take down Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas 64-29 in the 8-player football state semifinal.
McDonell will move on to the state championship this coming Saturday, November 15th at South Wood County Stadium in Wisconsin Rapids.
Although it was cold, our boys were able to watch a perennial powerhouse team operate. The best way to get better is to emulate those who are great!

Reminder about High School Basketball Practice

Cal’s Tuscobia Tavern comes through huge again for Winter Athletics!
Cal’s hosted a SECOND meat raffle last night and achieved the goal of doubling the profit from the first round. They raised
over $600 in the first round and last night’s total was $1,309! This brings the total donation from Cal’s to just under $2,000!
We are so appreciative of the support of this new business in the heart of our little town. It was great to see such a great turnout in support of our kids!
Special thanks to Dee Schleusner, Jen Wergeland, and anyone else who helped out last night for spearheading this and running the raffle portion.
