Kinders went to the Winter Greenhouse

Mr. Delabar and 10 high school students attended the PUSH hands on skills day in Rice Lake today!
Students had a blast getting listening to real world testimonies from tradesmen all over the Midwest. They also had tons of opportunities to operate brand new machinery including mini excavators, backhoe’s, back blades, underground drills, mini skid steers, and cranes. On the other side of the expo, students were able to try their hand at splicing fiber and learn about some of the different tools and technology in the industry. Our students behaved wonderfully and picked up the controls on the machinery very well. Way to represent WSD guys!
Special thanks to PUSH, Don Johnson’s, and Kwik Trip for sponsoring this free event full of learning and experience!
