This play is written by our very own Mr. Albertson, Sabreena Kling and Lillian Heizler.
Paulie Delicroce is a capo with Al Capone's Chicago Outfit, and leader of a crew which smuggles cacti from Ontario to Chicago via Minnesota's North Shore. The United States Coast Guard, ever wiser to Paulie's smuggling operation has begun to intercept the deliveries, leaving Paulie with nothing to profit from. Still owing money to Al Capone, Paulie has resorted to not only smuggling, but also to burglary. On the 18th of December 1929, Paulie's luck runs out when he is arrested by the Grand Marais Police Department and charged with Felony Burglary and violation of the Volstead Act. He is booked into the county jail-a small, single cell int eh middle of the Sheriff's Department-and spends his time interacting with the Sheriff's Department Staff, including department secretary Anna Dotts, who records the events in her diary.

Yesterday, December 12th some of the high schoolers were able to attend Northwoods Technical College for Dental Day! It was so cool being able to be one of the biggest attendees at the event. This event was encouraging, not just for our students that want to go into the dental field, but for anyone that is still curious about what they want to do. Even Mrs. Lueloff got to play!
Youth apprenticeships allow students to gain real-world experience in their chosen field. This practical approach provides them with the skills and knowledge needed to perform tasks effectively in a professional environment. We are proud to be having this experience for our students! Thank you Mercedie and Arianna for bringing your work into our school!
The Band Concert that was to be this Wednesday has been postponed.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the upcoming band concert has been
postponed. The new date has not been finalized, but will be announced
