Just a quick update regarding the golf sectional
Due to weather, the meet had been moved to Wednesday 6/4. The kids will be starting earlier as well. Send off will be at 5:45 a.m. with the fire department with no sirens.
We appreciate all the support you have given and continue to give, and we would like to thank you for that. These 5 student athletes made a mark by being the first golf team ever to qualify for sectionals from Winter, and best of luck to them on Wednesday!

Opportunities for our Community

Congratulations to Naima Burt on her Regional win this afternoon in Phillips!
Naima placed first in women’s triple jump with a jump of 31’ 6” and placed second in long jump with a 14’ 6” jump.
Please feel welcomed to join us as the Winter Fire Department helps send her and her coaches off to Colby High School at noon this Friday for the Sectional Meet!
Congratulations Naima, we’re so proud of your hard work!

The varsity team truly finished strong, with 4 out of 5 golfers having their best performance ever, right when it counted the most. Winter dominated over Drummond, Mellen, Washburn, and Flambeau taking the 4th team qualifying spot to sectionals.
This marks the first time ever a Warrior golf team has moved on to sectionals as a full team! This is quite an achievement with 8 strong teams in the regional, including teams like Prentice and Ladysmith who qualified for State the last two years.
Congratulations to moving on to the Sectional next Tuesday in Rice Lake. We are so proud of you all!!

Senior Banners are down and are ready for pickup in the District Office.
