East Lakeland all conference team, featuring Adam at 2nd place overall

Winter Middle School Field Day is here!! Let the games begin

Winter 4th and 5th graders were given a tour of the Winter Greenhouse. They learned about all the different types of plants. They got to go into the glow room to see the glowing petunias and were able to feed and pet the coy! A Viola plant was given to each student! Thank you to the Winter Greenhouse for the wonderful tour!

The varsity team had a very good showing at Birchwood last night, beating both Flambeau and Birchwood. Carter and Adam both received conference points. Today they’re heading to Cumberland for the conference championship

We will be having a diaper bank pick-up on June 2nd! Come get your free diapers!

Our Strengthening Families 7-17 program will be starting in June. A light breakfast will be served and children and caregivers are given a chance to spend quality time together. If you have a child in between those ages, register here https://forms.gle/Zf3UeiPi7hJEkTCb8

Mrs. Strop's fifth graders enjoyed a visit from community member, Ms. Lynn Scala. She read a book, shared information about ways to help save the earth, and even did an art project with plastic caps that we had been saving! The following week fifth graders were invited to the Winter Public Library to plant a garden. Thank you, Ms. Lynn, for the invitation! Even though we were rained on a bit at the beginning, we still had a blast!

Skate City Field Trip for second through fifth grade Part 2

Skate City Field Trip for second through fifth grade was a huge success! Lots of smiles

Congratulations Class of 2025

Mr. Moelter’s 4th graders had an awesome morning at the Exeland Rod and Gun Club! They learned to cast, tie fly baits, and picked up some valuable boat safety tips. The best part? Every student went home with their very own fishing pole! Huge thanks to everyone who made this outdoor adventure possible!

Kinders and third graders have been pairing up twice a month this past school year to practice reading skills. The kinders have been able to read to their third grade partners, and then everybody enjoys a treat together afterwards. Both groups looked forward to this fun way to read!! We ended the year with the tables turned, and third grade read to the kinders instead! Fun! Part 2

On March 20th, Sarah Granica and Melissa Bartlett from Chippewa Valley Bank, came to Winter's 5th grade and High School Personal Finance classes to present to them about being "Money Smart". They also presented the school with a $2,500 donation. Thank you so much for supporting the Winter School!
