SINCEREST CONGRATULATIONS to ALL of these LEGENDARY Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) Girls' Basketball Coaches who received HONORS at the 50th WIAA Celebration! Coach Joe Doucette even coached at Winter High School, including coaching Coach Jennie Pasanen, who also competed against Ted Alberson's teams. Coach Ted Alberson coached his Flambeau Lady Falcons versus the Winter Lady Warriors multiple times in the Winter High School Langham Memorial Gymnasium.

WORK Club Session #4 Begins Monday, March 16!

The Lakeland Honor Society Winter Chapter held its annual meeting and induction ceremony on March 11th. Several students were recognized, including saying goodbye to our Senior Lakeland Conference Honor Society members. Last night’s Winter Sports Banquet went off without a hitch as we gathered to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our basketball teams this season. It was a great evening recognizing the accomplishments of our athletes, while also reflecting on the growth, teamwork, and improvement shown by our middle school and high school programs throughout the winter.

Thank you to the players, coaches, and families who helped make this season memorable. We are proud of the effort our teams put in every day and look forward to building on that progress in the seasons ahead. Keep making Winter proud, athletes!

From Dr. Ray (HS Science): Congratulations to Ethan Rackouski on taking Winter all the way to State for the Land+Water Conservation Speech Contest! Ethan won SECOND PLACE at the State competition this past week in the Wisconsin Dells!

Winter School District JOINS in February's celebration!

On Tuesday, the Winter School District came together to celebrate and support our #5 seed Girls Basketball Team before their first game in the Division 5 WIAA Girls Basketball Tournament. It is an extra special occasion to celebrate because this year marks the 50th anniversary of the girls tournament.

That evening, the Lady Warriors defeated the #12 seed Frederic Vikings to advance to WIAA Regional Round 2. They will take on the South Shore Cardinals this Friday in Port Wing, WI. Tipoff is set for 7:00 PM.

Let’s pack the stands and support our girls.

A message from Winter Schools' Superintendent Craig Olson: Last night was the first Referendum '26 Informational Meeting. Thanks so much to those who were able to attend! The next scheduled meetings are on March 9th and March 16th.
One of the questions raised last night referred to the area schools' Mill Rate information. Please see the attached flyer with the area schools' rates, as well as the meeting dates flyer.
